Bevex - Bansky Vyskum, Ltd. Prievidza is company of 60 employees with more than 55 years of experiences in mining technology development. We focus on engineering, production, service and trade of mining suspended transportation equipment. We also offer custom made machinery tailored to customer's needs and requirements.

Bevex has 45 years long tradition of expertise in systems of suspended mining transportation. Our first locomotive was introduced in 1968. At the time, Bevex was leading development institute for coal mining in Czechoslovakia and the 1968 locomotive became the blueprint template for all the suspended mining locomotives produced in eastern block until 1996.

Decades of experiences, innovation of our designers and know-how in production and services help us to bring you the mining machinery and equipment of the highest quality and reliability. Our machines are the product of tireless development, skilled engineering, detailed technical knowledge and high focus on the customers and their needs.

We proudly stand behind our product and offer repair services within and after the warranty period, manufacturing of spare parts, general repairs, training and consulting.

Every machine and equipment of suspended transportation is tested on our trial polygon.

We practice and maintain the system of quality control in our company according to ISO 9001:2008, issued by BUREAU VERITAS.

We also own certificate for quality control at production of products for potentially explosive environments: certificate OBAC 11ATEQ 003 for suspended mining locomotive and engine, and certificate FTZU 07 ATEXQ for electric equipment.

We work towards maintaining reasonable price - quality ratio of our product. 

Our biggest clients come from Polish and Russian market. Over the last few years we exported 39 Bevex suspended mining locomotives to Poland and 18 to Russia.
